Michele2Italy took photograph while on a boat tour of Louisiana's Cajun swamps during the month of December. She was on this tour, just a few miles outside of New Orleans, in Kraemer, Louisiana, and was initially hoping to spot alligators, but it was too cold and they were hibernating or just hiding. However, it was a gorgeous day and this magnificent, serene, almost overwhelming view of the landscape from the open boat came as close to matching the "beauty" of the swamps as she could have ever hoped.
