Antipasto bar. This restaurant is near the Colosseum. Dinner starts at 7 pm. Lunch started at 12:30. That's how we found it. we were at the Colosseum around noon and my daughter was starving. i went though a list of restaurants in one of those restaurant guide books by region and found this one that opened at 12:30.
This restaurant North of the Colosseum is my favorite in all of Rome, La Piazzetta:
10 euro antipasto bar. fill up a dinner plate at the antipasto bar for 10 euro.
The best way to find this tiny street that they are on is to walk down Frangipani (from either Via dei Fori Imperialis Via Annibaldi) till you come to Buon Consiglio.
