Her0121 Palaestra
Palaestra. Herculaneum. There was a cross-shaped fountain/pool in this big room that you can peer into. The center of this pool was a five-headed snake that sprayed water into the air in the pool. Her0121 shows the snake from further away. You can see the volcanic medium as the wall in back of the snake.
