Hotel Banklialp in Engelberg
Our room for the first night of the trip was just below the "BAN" of Banklialp. We enjoyed beautiful views of the village of Engelberg and the mountains. The signpost below the hotel marked the beginning of tomorrow's walk.... up those steps and then STRAIGHT up the mountain!
