1 - Notre maison La Bastide Vieille - side terrace (early Oct 04)
“Vieille” means old and a “bastide” is a type of old Provencal farmhouse. Our house is made of stone with light blue shutters, built partially into a hillside with the major windows facing south toward the Petit Luberon. The oldest part of this house was built in the 17th century, probably as some sort of small shepherd’s dwelling.
